The kids watch on and determined immediately that the dolphins on the side were a good omen.
And so it began.
Cav came down for the day and spent most of our last day with us. I even finally got to see their super secret hideout, “the crow’s nest” with a handshake promise with Cav to not tell his mom where it is.
What are we going to do without Cav around. He’s become a part of our family but am sure it doesn’t end here.

With one last picture of the three of them before leaving for good. It’s bittersweet as California has been so good to us and has gotten into our hearts but we know the next chapter will be just as epic.
