The days leading up to Christmas was busy as ever.  Pretzel helped the kids with their final days of homework and there were many crafts being done in our kitchen.
A few days prior, Auntie Amy and Luna came to stay and Luna began her poor diet choices, or one could argue, heavenly table food by all.
Christmas Eve was filled with cooking and baking.  Auntie Jewelz even got her hair all done up by the one and only Ashlyn.
Auntie Jen Jen arrived with bows galore and a cool drone for Heath's birthday, not to mention a TON of socks for miss Reghan.
Our home was filled with family, food, and dance.  If you don't see the video below, click on the following link.  Christmas Eve Jig

As is our yearly tradition, Steven read "Twas the Night Before Christmas" prior to bedtime while this time out family listened in.
Before bedtime, little baby Jesus was placed into the nativity set just in time for his birthday.
The morning of the kids waited with anticipation atop the stairs before they were allowed downstairs.  Once the "gates" were opened, they bolted into the living room with excitement.
They opened their stocking stuffers first and even Luna got some.
Eventually they were allowed to tear into the gifts but not before we, unsuccessfully, attempted the wave with an arm toy everyone received.

There was plenty of time to play with their toys in between the feasts and throughout the day.
Heath's gift is burning a hole in his pocket.  He keeps putting on his boots and board asking when we're going to go snowboarding.  Similarly, Ashlyn's screech is still echoing from when she opened her LOL Dollhouse and we continually have to watch our step so we don't step on Reghan's new robot friend.

The project of the day was definitely the dollhouse.
Good dental hygiene is key to the evenings game while working on dinner.
Ending our first Christmas in our new home with creepy face masks for a perfect holiday glow.
