The second day we hit up another water park with more water slides and a lazy river. A week full of water, natural and man made, came to an end. We were so happy to have had all of our North Carolina family visit us in our new home. We miss them already.

After one last walk down to the lake and farewell to the fishes, we headed home, this time with Uncle Jon and Aunt Cha coming for a visit.
Aunt Cha Cha couldn’t believe with us living so close to a train, we hadn’t smashed any pennies yet. A walk to the park, couple of quarters, and some patience by the tracks yielded very happy kids and some very warm and flat quarters.

Heath and Charlie had a quick spin on the swings before leaving.
Later that day we walked up to the neighborhood pool for the last “Flic & Float” night of the season. Wonder Woman was playing and the attention of all the kids in the pool lasted for about fifteen minutes before is became a late night free for all.
There was a red carpet full of props upon entering the pool.
Heath, Charlie, and Ashlyn wasted no time running into the pool.
Or the slides.
