The final weekend of Spring Break was low key in comparison to the previous week.  We ventured to the Poppy reserve which looked like it was on fire from all the rain this year.

 

Heath proudly found one of the very few yellow poppy's in the sea of orange.

Where to go...where to go?

 

Sunday we had a surprise bake off in the kitchen.  Actually, the girls made and baked Lemon Cookies all on their own with no adult assitance (save the oven).  They actually did pretty good. 

 

Meanwhile we'd receive the occasional text from Nonnie and Poppie marking their road trip out here.
