We spent a lovely Christmas Eve at our friends house Emily and Roberts.  Emily's parents were in town and they haven't seen the kids since Heath was crawling...a lot's changed since then.  Robert's kids were also there and it was a very full house by the time we arrived.
Who knew that Judy, Emily's mom, was a master balloon artist.  She was a mad woman with the creatures she was creating.  The kids loved them.
We then had an 'Ugly t-shirt" competition.  Reghan and Emily's won the master prize which was a peanuts nativity set.  Which actually was quite funny given the mixture of religious backgrounds present that day.
Of course the kids always make themselves at home and were taking in the different holiday decorations.
 And then the presents came.
 and came.

It was such a wonderful way to kick off the holiday, surrrounded by close friends.  By the time we got home the kids had slept the entire way home but still mustered enough energy to put out the cookies and carrots for Santa and his reindeer and hang their stockings.
