Some friends of Julia's had been planning an early birthday soiree for some time so miss Ashlyn and I made the trek to Chicago to partake in the celebrations.  As soon as we landed, Nonnie and Poppie swooped Ashlyn away while I stayed in the city.  It was too too short but a fabulous time - happy early birthday Julia!

Meanwhile, Steven and the kids were having their own adventures.  Reghan had her school holiday party and Saturday they visited Travel Town wrapping up the day with a movie night.

Nonnie and Poppie eventually had to part with Ashlyn but not before we all grabbed brunch and they then realized that Ashlyn could store almost half a bagel in her roof of her mouth, which of course, needed to be dug out.
