Just because they can drive around the cul-de-sac, this one thinks they're ready to drive beyond our street.  Uh - a couple more years to go.

The weathers been so beautiful all the windows and doors are open for Pretzel to be antagonized by the bunnies.

We spent the day at the Brookfield Zoo and made a new friend, Foodcourt, the peacock quickly became our buddy.  Before we left we rode the carousel and on the way back to Auntie Amy's stopped at a nearby park to walk through the hundreds of perfectly aligned flags in celebration of July 4th.

Ah Foodcourt.

Heath had Lacrosse camp at the highschool in the heat of the summer sun and Ashlyn turned to one of her favorite past times, shopping.

Aunt Joy brought the kids to a sliding rock for the day, can never get enough summertime water adventures.

Aunt Cha Cha uncovered a new favorite in Hendersonville, the Pinball Museum and it wasn't just any museum, you got to play all of the games, unlimited.  Oh what a way to spend the afternoon.

The cousins found one of their normal crash spots at Grana and Grandpas.  Their home really did used to be picked up, at least till everyone invades.

Then there's these two who celebrated 50 years together.  50 years! They're truly amazing and we're blessed to have been able to spend it with them.  

A little cake paired with a little playful spark brought some heavy laughs.

Grana never fails.  She disappeared for about 5 minutes and returned with a towel from their honeymoon hotel they stayed in on their roadtrip to California.  She was ready to snag it and Grandpa, being who he is, wouldn't let her permanently borrow it so asked if they could have it and the hotel let them.  It's in amazingly perfect condition for being 50 years old.

We can't get together at Aunt Linda's pool without ice cream which she has a never ending supply of.

Back at home we had yet another celebration to tend to, this time it was Michael's graduation with Ashlyn patiently waiting at the door for him and Auntie Jen jen to arrive.

And look at these mugs.  Brother and Sister - inseparable.
