After three times of trying, we finally made it back to LA!  It was a quick trip and didn't get to see nearly as many people as we wanted but felt like going home.  Starting it off right with brunch at the Coyote Grill in Laguna with Emily and Robert. 

A stay and their home wouldn't be complete without Ashlyn taking full advantage of Emily's amazing closet and baubles.

They nestled right in as though no time had passed.

Anne and Brian hooked us up right at the beach if only it wasn't so windy.  Although their backyard and hospitality never fails.  

Heath took Smith or was that Wesson on a ride of their life.  They actually didn't mind the backpack once he got them in there.   

And plenty of night time swimming at Emily and Roberts ensured the kids slept well each night.

After seeing Preston, Mila, and Diane in Beverly Hills we visited our old neighborhood where a bbq was held so we could see more people and after three years away, wow, has everyone grown.  I'm so glad they've kept up with so many of their friends.

With a fun sleepover at Cav's while Steven and I met up for a nightcap with some other people.

We started a bit late in the day but got one of our favorite hikes in over Temescal Canyon.  It was a hot one but as always, once to the top the views and breeze is worth it.

Another day at the beach and messing up Emily's kitchen, we're sure she's still finding flour somewhere. 

We saw many friends and had good time to ourselves to do what we enjoyed while there.  By no means was it long enough, nor did we see everyone we wanted to or do everything we wanted to but we're in hopes we'll be back soon.
