The last day of school went down a little different than years past.  In lieu of field day, all of the teachers, staff, and their principal distanced each other in front of the school while the kids were able to drive by and wave goodbye and wish them a good summer.  The kids so enjoyed being able to see everyone again.  Ashlyn made a little sign to hang out the window with while Heath hung out as afar as he could to wave to everyone as well as those behind us.

Earlier in the week there was another driving parade past Heath's teacher's house who's retiring this year.  It was planned to be during their weekly Zoom meeting and their class and past students alike drove by to surprise her with balloons, cards, and many cheers.  Heath was just beaming afterwards. 

With summer upon us board games are still being played but many of our games are happening outside.  Movies, jumping and running, swimming, and more.

Reghan's been saving for something and I'm lucky enough that she's finally old enough to help out with my work so a perfect partnership was born.  She's been hard at work and if she keeps up this way, there's more to come for her.

I got a special tour of the Western Woods and a peek into the hideouts that parents aren't allowed to visit.  My lips are sealed though.

Our Mel Science kits continue to come and this time they charged liquid and created metallic shards shooting through the dish.

Ashlyn and I were in charge of picking up a tree we purchased from a local nursery.  While we were waiting for it to be brought to the truck we had some time to kill roaming around.  This will be a familiar sight for the foreseeable future.
