Heath and I got out for a bike ride one afternoon and took the time to stop and smell the tulips growing down the street from us.  It's always so nice to see them each year blossom up.

 The balloons have no chance since the Nerf guns have come out.

The days blending together is giving the kids ample practice time to hone neccessary life skills.

 And a good roll down the Windmill Hill's hill made sure our bike ride was well rounded.

 The coffee table has been coming along nicely and is almost ready for the final stain and assembly.

Easter came and went.  One night we had the bright idea to dye the eggs this year with the beet juice form Nonnie's pickled beets.  While the concept was solid and the execution was deliberate, the final results were not ideal.  They were donned the, "sticky eggs" because of all the sugar and everything and anything stuck to them.

The yearly tradition of burying jelly beans commenced with the icky black licorice jelly beans no one wanted.

Rounded out with some hazing of the brother.

But Easter morning, oh Easter morning, the bunny sure did come.

After some Facetiming with family from afar while reading the directions for their Easter surprise, it was time to go on the Easter egg hunt.

After a week of cold rain clouds parted and the sun peaked out for most of the day allowing for a serious egg hunt this year.

And shortly after we took to the corner of the yard to begin to assemble their new Trampoline.

Later in the afternoon we shocked Nonnie + Poppie with a properly distanced Easter get together.  After much deliberation in the garage, Reghan's convinced she's as tall as Nonnie so they had a face off and from this angle, it sure does appear that Reghan's officially as tall if not taller than Nonnie.

Leave it up to our hometown to have a bunny riding around on the back of a truck spready Easter joy.

We made a kaleidoscope out of a pringles can and a flashlight.  It was somewhat successful but has much room improvement.

Then the Springtime Winter came on Friday so we bundled up and made our luWOW snowman.

And who would've thought it, we made it into the local newspaper.

The kids continue to expand into different parts of the house during their their e-learning and are embracing the work from home environment.

Even with all this, the biggest event of the month was Ashlyn's 9th birthday.  NINE!  How is that possible?  The weather turned out nicely for the weekend which was perfect.  The sidewalk and driveway was completely covered in birthday wishes.

Her dessert wish was to have brownies with canned whipped cream.

She also had a properly distanced party complete with McDonald's take out, as requested, and solid friend time.

Her Birthday Balloons came under Nerf Gun attack but survived to bounce another day.  We continue to keep on while enjoying the time we have together.
