This Mothers day was spent at the Arlington Race Track.  Although it was May, the day was quite chilly but that didn't stop us from cheering on our favorite ponies

And then this happened.  Who knew it was possible to bend a bone and not break it, but this one did it.  How you ask?  Rollerskating backwards down the street.  The epitome of safety.

Speaking of safety, it's a good thing we live on a cul-de-sac because the boys were flying down the street on their boards. 

With plenty of crafts to go around.

We got up one morning and went on a troll hunt at the Arboretum.  It was a gorgeous day and we found most of them.

In between the trolls we were able to find some shady comfy places to relax and drink in the fresh summer air. 

We did find his their hide out and his housewares where we were seasoning Ashlyn up for a good pot of stew.

We exhausted the kids and they relished the chance to take a break - till the next adventure begins that is.
