The end of the school year went out with the stuff childhood dreams are made of.  Heath and his friend Lloyd ran their first obstacle course mud race and they have the bug and are already planning their next one.
Although they started out clean, it didn't last long.
If they had a formal team they would've finished third overall.  Go boys!

Auntie Jewelz and I couldn't miss out either so joined in the fun too.  Just like the boys, we started as clean as could be but that too didn't last long.

Meanwhile, Steven and Reghan had a night out to see Hamilton.  She knew every word to every song and it meant so much to her.
The remaining days leading up to summer were full of sports days at school, picnics, field trips, and extra time with friends.
Reghan transitioned out of fifth grade and is going into middle school.  They don't have a graduation but instead have "the Fifth Grade Walk Out" where the class makes one more round through the corridors with the lower classmates cheering them on.  When they left the school for the last time the sidewalk was lined with parents and friends cheering them on further.  It was her first and last year at WAS but during this year she had great adventures and made good friends.
Emily and Robert came into town and spent the last few days with us and we couldn't have been happier.
Summer activities commenced almost immediately after school let out for the summer.  Massive water balloon fights and pool time were a must.
Nonnie and Poppie came in and between Emily and Robert, them, and us, Heath had his own private cheering section during his Lacrosse game.
A classic summer is ahead.  A summer filled with play dates, lazy days, lots and lots of cousin time, swimming and ice cream.  They couldn't ask for more.
