Nonnie and Poppie came up for the day and helped with the final touches on Reghan and Ashlyn's pumpkins for their schools pumpkin decorating contest where they had to be based on a character from a book.  Reghan's was Froggy from the Land of Stories and Ashlyn's was Captain Underpants. 

 

Ashlyn pulled her front tooth out one night and was so proud of it that she insisted on sending a video to Daddy when he was out of town one night.  Not just one in the evening but another one before she left for school the next morning.  If you don't see the following link, click on the following link.  Ashlyn's tooth excitement

We attended an expo at Ashlyn's gym where she got to demonstrate some of the new moves she's been learning.  She was a little shy in the beginning but soon found her groove.

A new community brings the start of new traditions.  This one being that each Thursday before Halloween the stores open their doors for trick or treating in our downtown.  The streets were chuck full of kids, parents, and store owners in costume.  The weather was beautiful our Kitty Archer, Candy Princess Fairy, and Villager raked in the sugar while running into friends all over.

 

 

Reghan took some time out of her busy schedule to give her mom a hair treatment.

The day of Halloween there was a costume parade at school.  Before the parade about twenty five moms dressed as witches circled the school on bikes and scooters cackling as they rode.

It was a perfect fall afternoon for trick or treating.  Our group started out small but grew to a small mob as it progressed through the neighborhood while Reghan and her friends roamed headed off in another direction to conquer the streets.
