Heath has recently began gymnastics and has really taken to it. Both him and Ashlyn look forward to their classes each week with much excitement.
One morning before school the kids woke up to the first snowfall of the year. They couldn’t wait to get out in it so before teeth were brushed or breakfast ate, they were out early tumbling in it while waking up the neighborhood.
Even Daddy didn’t escape the snowballs. If you don’t see the video, click on the following link.
Heath’s scour troop had their annual turtle race, a first for us. Heath did pretty well and started out strong but fell short when his rhythm skipped a beat.

The morning we left for Thanksgiving week we once again woke up to snow and again, the kids couldn’t wait to get out in it. This time they made their first snowman in their new home and named him Jeffery. If you don’t see the video below, click on the following link.
Our first stop along the way was a most exciting one. Our dear friends from LA were in town and we were able to squeeze in a couple hours to see them. Although the kids wanted more time, the few precious hours we did have were wonderful.
We drove late that night and stayed the night in Lexington. Along the way we stopped at a random fast food restaurant where we were the only patrons which allowed the kids to “stretch” their legs. If you don’t see the video below, click on the following link. Next stop, Misty Mountain.
