The last couple of months have come to a sad end for "The Storm." Heath's team has continued to win playoff game after playoff game but this weekend just wasn't in the cards for them and they lost in the latest round.  The team really began to unite as one unit and was a force to be reckoned with.

It was difficult for them but are already looking forward towards the next season.
Cool night practices also brought about 'back of truck' dinner picnics which will be missed in a crazed sense.
A month full of friends filled the days and weekends.
With gorgeous weather bringing us outdoors.
Our friends Emily and Robert were in town and squeezed in a visit one night.  Little did they realize they were entering into a Friday night Nerf war zone.  They both brought their own strategy to it which ultimately led to a truce.
Of course we had the little help with the strategic planning.

We were able to catch the tail end of Ashlyn's displaying her range of emotions on demand.  If you don't see the video below, click on the following link.  Robert and Ashlyn's range - Jan '17
The end of the month brought about our school's yearly Mother/Son Bowling event and our name this year was "The Porg Warriors".  The team came ready to play and play hard.

Sunday morning we woke to our boys making us breakfast which was a great way to end the first month of the year.
