The kids have been back for about a month now and it's been full of playing, seeing friends, trips, more playing, and did I mention more playing?

Ashlyn had her first day at camp with her big sister and brother and they've taken good care of her.

Many movies with friends.

Prefaced by secret wishes in the fountain and attempts to win some prizes.

The backyard is still a good spot when it's not too hot.

Decorating paper bags for camp field trips.  This one was to the Santa Barbara Zoo.

Far away friends visiting.

And new Popsicle creations.

Trips to the fish store with friends.  They each got to pick one out and name it.  

Heath was in awe at the Boy Scouts of America house when we picked up his uniform for this fall.  He can't wait to begin to earn his badges.

And let's not forget the pool.  The community pool is always a favorite but our neighbors have moved to the top of the list with the completion of theirs.  Many days and nights have been spent in there and we can foresee many more.

Sleepovers with friends are always fun but nothing beats sleepovers between sisters.

The big coming of age moments this past month of Heath losing his first tooth...

and Reghan getting braces....

 

Ashlyn's back in dance classes and it was as if she was a caged animal who was just released.  She was so so happy to be back with her people.

Trips to the beach.  While Heath and Reghan ran right for the water, Ashlyn got right down to business creating a kingdom for Ariel and Cinderella.

After we buried Heath, Reghan joined in.

Not long after Ashlyn crashed the party.

Did I mention the neighbors finished their pool and it's quite the destination?  Ursula and Justin, you've just not made your children happy with it but many others.

 

Heath insisted we take a disco picture in the hot tub at night. Now the new school year countdown begins with Ice Cream Social tonight kicking off the week's activities.
