First up, Reghan and Steven's official Daddy Daughter Dance picture.  She's growing up so fast!
Just when they look so much older, along comes an impromptu birthday celebration with some of their closest friends to show they're still our little ones.  An afternoon of running around and playing followed by a trip for some pizza and cupcakes made for a fun afternoon.  However, to try to get a decent picture of them is near impossible.
Action shots are much easier.

The night before was the Father Son Laser Tag night and this year Heath really got into it and keeps asking when Ashlyn will be old enough so that our whole family can go in as a team and shoot other people.  He had a blast.

While they were at Laser Tag, Reghan went to her friend, Armita's, house to paint eggs inspired by the Persian New Year.  They had a raffle at the end and Reghan's eggs won 3rd place!
Because of this, Ashyln and I spent very "Ashlyn type", evening together.  We went for dinner after she got some new lipstick followed by her going home and continuing to paint her face followed by one of her favorite past times...a face mask.
Reghan and her friend Hailey accompanied by sous chef Ashlyn, decided they were going to make cupcakes all by themselves for the first time.  I helped pull the pans out of the oven and made sure they were reading the instructions correctly but other than that, they did it all themselves.  To my delight they turned out pretty good.

Afterwards, they ran off some of the sugar steam in the bouncer in the back yard.  I'm not sure what the weight capacity is but I think we may have been close this day.
St. Patrick's day celebrations were thrown in there and for the first time this year, all the kids embraced corned beef but sadly, because of it we had no left overs.
Our school has all sorts of fund raisers and this year's Barnes and Nobles book fair/fundraiser had a twist with a scavenger hunt throughout the store.  Typically we can get lost in a book store for a very very long time but with the addition of the riddled scavenger hunt, it was a very focused and harried visit.
Another good report card from the dentist.
However he thought he was being cheeky when he drew a picture of our orthodontist looking in and smiling because he know's what's coming. All three kids future include braces.
Ashlyn's passion for dance remains strong as ever.
Although Reghan and Heath support her in it, they really could care less
We know it's springtime when Reghan catches her first lizard, oh wait, her second lizard, oh wait again, her third lizard, she's on such a roll this year we've already lost count on how many lizards she's caught so far.

No denying that now that she insists on dressing herself she brings her own flair to it.
We love this one of our beautiful Megan and the girls.  Going into the Easter weekend it's perfect.  Hoping everyone has a wonderful holiday weekend.
