The past couple of weeks have been a little slower paced with it all being about the kids. Lot's of time to kick back and enjoy the gorgeous spring like weather and school activities. To name just a couple; Reghan and Steven's Daddy Daughter dance who's theme was, "A night in Paris". The two were adorable as he waited with a bouquet of flowers and escorted her into the car for their date. The following week was the complete opposite with a Daddy and Son focused night of Laser Tag shooting each other and as many friends as possible.
A fun candid shot with our girl Kaitlyn.
In honor of Dr. Seuss's birthday celebrations, we reversed the day one night with rainbow colored breakfast for dinner in our pj's on a school night.
Reghan's learning to side breathe during her free style stroke and they have this clever trick to train her to not turn all the way over, a shark fin. It stops her from flipping over till she can learn to do it on her own. The last five minutes of class both her and Heath were swimming all over the pool with them.
On one of our recent walks we discovered that the fairies have been busy at our neighbors house decorating the outside of their door. The kids occasionally leave nuts or cheese for the fairies to eat at their doorstep and are always amazed at how quickly it disapears.
This time we picked up a friend, Cavenaugh, along the way. It's certainly been a nice few, kid focused, weeks and am very grateful.
