We finally got our hands on cutie Charlie.  Jon and Chandra came out with Charlie for a long weekend and they couldn't have picked a more beautiful time to come.  The kids have been on edge waiting to be with, as they call him, Cousin Charlie.  None of them strayed far from him but Reghan and Ashlyn stayed especially close.

We took advantage of the warm weather and started the weekend out at the Zoo.

Ashlyn made sure that Charlie was never at a loss for "food", his pacifier, or anything else for that matter.

There's always time for ice cream.

That night they realized the how the kids like to give massages and Aunt Cha cha took advantage.

Ashlyn snuck in her dance lessons and was kicking back waiting for it to start.
The next day was the warmest of the weekend and so off to the beach we went.

 Proud Daddy and Uncle.

Heath really got into playing football that afternoon and at one point had Daddy, both Aunt Cha Cha and Uncle Jon playing.
Heath's discovered tunneling in the sand with each one becoming more and more elaborate.  He's always thrilled when he breaks through to another tunnel.
Godzilla Charlie came close to knocking one in but Uncle Jon came to the rescue.
It was such a relaxing day and we were happy with the thought that we wouldn't be changing diapers filled with sand about a day or two later like Uncle Jon and Aunt Cha Cha would be.  A nice reminder of their visit for days to come.

It was a low key weekend with plenty of catching up and rest.  By the time we see Charlie again he'll be running around and we can't wait.
