Yet again, another Christmas has come and gone and our house is full of magic and wonder.  Reghan helped make cinnamon rolls on Christmas Eve and by far her favorite part was licking the filling that oozed out onto the counter.  Every, last, bit of it.
Before bedtime we unwrapped some packages Grana sent for the kids and what did they get, but personalized knitted stockings especially for them.  Thank you Grana and from we understand, thank you to her helpful elf, Aunt Linda for helping out.

Heath woke up extremely early the morning of and the only way to keep him quiet was to climb into bed with him and we had a bunch of fun.
The yearly wait at the top of the stairs before going down for the thrill.
Steven caught the first glimpse of Reghan coming around the corner and her leap into mid air.
After the Santa's cookie and carrot plate inspection, the stockings were next, then the horribly long wait through breakfast but Heath took full advantage of the time to look at one of his new books.

Then onto the presents.  Heath had a thing about lining up presents which Ashlyn jumped onto in no time.  Once the line up was complete the opening commenced.
Reghan received one her most asked for gifts, a chocolate machine so we enjoyed ourselves some chocolate fondu mid morning and then onto more gifts.

Tortilla also received a snazy gift from Auntie Amy.

Then onto a tea party and some racing.

And a visit from none other than Wolverine.
The night ended with the younger two going to bed and Reghan staying up a little later for a small toast of Champagne. Everyone was so gracious this year and on behalf of all of us, thank you for helping make this an extraordinary Christmas.
Early the next morning they pulled out their some of their stocking stuffers and afterwards we took advantage of the extremely unseasonable warm weather and headed outdoors.
Heath got a new football just the right size for his hands and the breeze was perfect for kite flying.

During our outing the sprinklers went off and Reghan, along with a number of other kids saw an opportunity to get drenched and hopped on it.  Needless to say she got chilled immediately afterwards so we headed home.
The next morning on our way out the door, Ashlyn discovered a new way to carry her sippy cup in the car; why in her hoody by wearing her jacket backwards.  And again taking advantage of the weather with a nice bike ride along a local water way.
