On the other hand, Nonnie seemed to fit into the chairs quite nicely.
Saturday started
with us picking out our Christmas Tree.

Ashlyn enjoyed the view from above during the hunt.
The boys worked on a broken sprinkler line while we decorated the tree.
That night Reghan opened the first of some really really great gifts. The first was a fish tank from Grana + Grampa which we placed in her room and she's been studying fish books all week to find the perfect fish for it. The second was a doll house from Nonnie + Poppie. She's been asking for a doll house for some time now and she's in doll house nirvana.
Of course the boxes are always the best part of any present.
Then there's the task of putting together which was placed upon poor Steven.
The night finished with a game of Cars Operation (notice that even after bath time, Steven's still in the background putting the doll house together).
Then the day of the party. The kids have been looking forward to this for weeks and bounced out of bed as soon as the sun rose. The party was at Scooters Jungle and they had the entire bounce room to themselves which also meant that the adults got to play too. Reghan had a spectacular day. She even got the hang of the zip line by the end.
There was plenty of games to keep the big kids entertained.
Yes, that blip is Ashlyn flying down the slide.
Heath was thrilled to have his buddy Vince come to the party and they wasted no time digging into their cupcakes while Reghan devoured hers.
During the ride home, Heath tried his best to get his favor bucket to fit on his head. Topping out the night with the opening of gifts. All of her friends were very generous and we thank each and everyone of you for joining us on her big day, you really made it grand.
