~ Christmas ~ Part 1 ~
A weekend of cookie decorating got ugly when the frosting was left up to the kids.

Then the big arrival of Uncle Jon and Aunt Chandra (AKA: Aunt Cha Cha) for the Christmas weekend with a quick game before dinner.

           

Saturday morning we visited the Natural History Museum of LA, specifically to walk Dino Hall, but also view a few other exhibits.  Needless to say, a return visit isn't too far out in the distance so we can visit the Insect and Rainforest wings.  

 

Just like the first time we were on campus to go to the neighboring LA Science Museum, the rotunda didn't fail to entertain.

Both big and small enjoyed the exhibits.  

We finally made it to our destination.  Reghan had her Dinosaur book that she carried with her the entire day to check her book's dino's against the museum's.

We then had a yummy lunch downtown and the kids got the most amazing ice cream sandwich, compliments of the bar, afterwards and even got to eat it in the car on the way home.

Sunday morning started out slow with ruckus at home.  We had our very own "tent city" in the front room.  Uncle Jon fits perfectly in there, doesn't he.  Especially since he wasn't allowed in the other tent.
