 ~ Christmas ~ Part 2 ~
Christmas Eve took us to our dear friends Emily and Robert's.  Somehow their house always calls for a nap time, at least by one person visiting, and this was no exception.  After Jon and Chandra took a snooze, it as then Steven's turn.

Not long after arriving, Emily pulled out their generous gifts for the kiddies, of which we all enjoyed.

Then off our sleigh flew back home to hang our stockings and put out milk, cookies, carrots, and Heath's special reindeer food but not before tracking Santa's status online.  He had already hit the East coast when we were preparing his plate.

Once it was clear, it was time to pull out Reghan's bike that Daddy and Uncle Jon put together the night before while us girls enjoyed our wine and "offered assembly suggestions" which were blatantly ignored by the guys. Finally, the house was ready for Christmas morning.
In cruel fun, we let them wait at the top of the stairs for a few minutes then down we went and good bye clean house.
Stockings first.
Breakfast and play time next.
Time to attack the presents.
More play time.
Some more presents.
More play time...you get the idea. (and this is why it takes us on average 2 days to open presents)

With no exception, the day after was also full of fun and new toys.  We were lucky to have Wonder Woman and Spiderman grace our presence.

At that point we took to the streets with Reghan's new bike with Uncle Jon being the girl's bike buddy.

Rounding out the day with Reghan getting to put her new crabs and snails into her fish tank and some energy expended with the fun parachute that Uncle Jon and Aunt Cha Cha got them.  It was such an enjoyable week with our family in town and an incredible holiday.
