Steven and Ashlyn headed east for a long weekend.  Ashlyn spent the weekend with Grana and Gramps while Steven went to the Auburn/Clemson game, then made his way up the mountain.  Since I had the 2 older ones, our weekend was a bit more non-scheduled then usual.  We met Meg and her oldest, Vince, at the Peterson Automotive Museum.  It was a perfect size for our big little ones.  We arrived a few minutes early and poor Reghan and Heath were teased as they gazed upon the life size Lightening McQueen and Mater on the other side of the doors and couldn't get to them till the museum opened.  Luckily, Meg and Vince showed up just as the doors were opening.
Lot's to look at and they did so well.
It was hard to pull them away from the second Cars display, but the Bat Mobile did the trick, at least for a few minutes.

Another highlight was the Matchbox section.  The lights in the arc moved each time someone walked through it with race cars racing.
The 3rd floor had a play area and they finally got to run around and touch anything they wanted.
Yes, that is a race car the 3 of them were riding in.
Still not too sure on who won the Pinewood Derby race.
Our future CHIP.  You can view more pics of the day's escapades at the following link.  http://cotugnofamily.blogspot.com/
Sunday we made our way to Anne and Brian's for a BBQ.  They had a great idea to have a hot dog bar.  Basically, lot's of hotdogs with a slew of condiments and print outs of different combinations with the applicable names.  Such as the Venezuelan, New York, or Chicago, etc.  Yum-my.

They also had drinking straw glasses the kids were naturals with them.
Well, some of them.
Heath's still talking about getting to climb a tree.
The 3 amigo's.
Meanwhile, I only have a couple of shots from Ashlyn's adventures but her and Grana, I'm positive, were inseparable.
And finally a nod to our kiddies who were supporting both Daddy's and Uncle Jon's team on Saturday.
