Last weekend Steven's college roommate, Scott, was in town and stayed with us.  Although it was the first time the kids met him, I think they channeled his energy that he has a couple boys around their age because they were all over him as if they see him all the time.  Heath was obsessed with his back pack and it contents and tried his best to make off with his work ID.

Leave it up to Reghan to catch yet another lizard.  This time the process of moving it into a container wasn't smooth and we beat it up pretty good and it wasn't moving too fast because of it.  This enabled little miss Reghan to make a cozy little home for it.  It's housed under the plastic element but by morning time it made it's way out to freedom.
Car washing day.  All this girl's missing is a pair of daisy dukes.

Best place to play with Playdoe...the garage.
 The master at work.
This weekend brought us to the La Brea Tar Pits.
Not sure what the kids liked better, the skeletal structures or the moving recreations of the prehistoric beasts?

Got to see the paleontologists at work.

Ashlyn was just happy to be along for the ride.
Then, oh my, the first tree to be attacked during our walk through the park.  There were a lot of good climbing trees and the first one was big enough for all 3.
Snack time next to the sloths.

The Tar Pits park flows into LACMA's so we meandered over to the "Levitated Mass".  At first the kids didn't know what to make of it and Heath never felt completely comfortable standing below it.
Our best effort to get a photo of the 3 together.
