We were invited to spend the day with our friends Anne, Brian, Meg, Peter, and their little ones while they were on a weekend getaway to Ojai.  How could we say no?  On top of it, Meg and Peter invited along 2 of Vince's camp counselor's, Kayleigh and Andrew, to help with the kids and they were fantastic with them.  Shortly after we arrived, the boy's took off for a round of golf while we made way to the water park.  Ashlyn was enamored by large mirror in their weekend house.

Heath was a little more hesitant.

 Ashlyn stuck close to Anne, but really, can you blame her?

 Lunch time snuck up on us pretty quickly and there was no loss of appetite.

Then back to the house for naps (if that's what we want to call it)  Vince got a set of golf clubs for his 3rd birthday and they were a hit with all.  Vince and Heath enjoyed them while Reghan and Wrigley played fetch.

 Believe it or not, they were quite cordial with each other while playing.

A little conditioning for the not too distant future when Max gets old enough to take Vince on.  All in all, it was a pretty even wrestling match with lots of laughter.

Leave it up to the Meg to post this picture and I couldn't resist stealing it from their blog.  Note: Steven does have a swimsuit on.  Given that none of the kids wanted to get cleaned up to leave, we reverted to closing them all in the shower with Daddy so we could get our tired teddies into their pj's.
