We then arrived in Kaui and settled in for the next week.  

Shortly after the kids found their happy place, the water.  We may now be landlocked in IL but the coastal waters will always call to them.

A surprise for Steven was a special outfit Reghan & Heath packed for him and he was such a good sport about it.  They looked silly but perfect.

Lots and lots of nighttime swims in the pool and lagoon since they were open 24/7.

I drug them to a water aerobics class and our instruction was quite the enemy of fun.  We made it the full hour but it was a long hour and we had a bit of difficulty keeping to our "indoor voice" since we were outside, in a pool, and all we wanted was to laugh, that was till the enemy of fun scolded us.  I've ruined the two of them for all future water classes.

Chickens, chickens, chickens everywhere.

Our first excursion was to the Nepali Coast and it took our breath away.  We could've done without the snorkeling portion of it but the between the wildlife we encountered paired with spectacular views, it was an experience that will stay with us.  

The kids were wiped out on the ride back and found a soft spot to snuggle up to in order to catch their second breath.
