And so it begins, another school year has kicked off.  This year we've graduated from Elementary School into Middle and High School with locker set ups, meet the teacher nights, and parent orientations.

The first day of school was a little different this year in that all three of the kids weren't together.  Reghan has Early Bird PE which means we leave the house at 6:10 in the morning, way before Heath and Ashlyn wake up so our first day of pictures this year are broken into two.  Even with two separate pictures, the nervousness radiates from the first day of 9th grade in High School for Reghan and the first day of 6th grade in Middle School for Ashlyn. 

And Heath, our 7th grader just rolled with it in his typical casual approach.

None of them have long walks to the bus and all of them take off like little adults.

Gone are the days of waiting on the blacktop watching the kids walk into school and teachers handing out kleenex and here are the days of loading into the buses while we try to embarrass our children with our hugs and our love you's.  It's set up to be a good year!
