A first of firsts, we have 3 children and over the course of the weekend all 3 of them were in 3 different states with 3 different groups of people. A glimmer into the not so distant future of ours. Heath spent a week RV'ing with friends across the midwest and leave it up to him to make new ones along the way.
The boy always did like to be buried.
Then we have Ashlyn who was scooped up by Auntie Jewlz to venture to Wisconsin for a large German American festival where she got to eat pretzels larger than her head and exhaust the rides with her cousin Andie.
Lastly there's Reghan who for their 8th grade graduation got a trip to their requested city of Las Vegas.
There's always plenty to see in this city and with it being Reghans first visit, there were a lot of observations made, both good and bad.
A fun last minute paranormal magic show on a rainy desert day became one of the weekend's highlights
A visit to Omega Mart, the entire reason Reghan wanted to go to Las Vegas brought about an interesting immersive experience. Our dear friend Beth came along for the of which we then ended at her home for the remainder of the day.
Reghan found all the tunnels and hidden doorways throughout.
Yep, Reghan is inside the apples while the rose headed person is feeding them a ramen noodle blanket. Only the best for Reghan.
Rounding the weekend off with a visit to the Hoover Dam. It was the first trip we've taken with just them, the first of many. The first of many trips with each of our kids individually, the first of all of them scattered all over the country, and while there are a lot of firsts, we still like to come back together in one place, our home.
