Each year one of of our favorite things to do is decorate our Christmas tree.  We started the month out by decorating our tree and little Miss Ashlyn got to put the tree topper up this year.

Heath's soccer team is still going strong.  He had his first playoff game and they dominated 10-0.  The upcoming week is a double header for the championship game.  They've been gearing up for the big games the following weekend.
Later in the day, the kids brought some color to the front walk and just in time for Reghan's 10th birthday party.
The kids decorated Christmas tree ornaments and for the most part were surprisingly neat.  There was some glitter and paint spills but overall they made some beautiful ornaments.
She asked for apple pie for dessert and got thrown when blowing them out due to the candles being spread across both pies but she did pretty good.
Her friends were very kind and generous and she was thrilled with every single present.
Afterwards there was an intense game of charades.
Then it was time to hatch the Hatchimal.  It took almost 25 minutes of rubbing and caressing before it hatched and all the kids and parents included were enamored by it.
Over the weekend we also put up some of Gramps' Lionel trains.  The kids have absolutely loved playing with it and have created a Lego village surrounding it.
Monday rolls around and it's Reghan's actual birthday so Victoria brought them to Menchies for some frozen yogurt to celebrate.  To their surprise, the manager threw them a mini birthday party.  They got their yogurt, plus ice cream cake with a candle while the Menchies team sang Happy Birthday to her.  On top of that, she also got a balloon and her name along with Heath and Ashlyn's name up on the big chalkboard on the wall.  She said she wasn't as embarrassed as she could've been because they were the only ones there that night but she was embarrassed a little.
Later that night we celebrated between us and she was able to open her relatives gifts.
One of the knock out gifts was a onsie for Reghan from Nonnie and Poppie.  A Narwal.  Who knew she has such love for Narwal's.  She keeps dancing around the house singing about her Narwal.
The other one was that she finally got her set of golf clubs from Grana and Grandpa.  She's been looking at them and have been wanting to go out with Daddy so now we need to get her out there.  It might be after our next hike though so she can use her new compass and hiking stick from her brother and sister.
Sitting back it's hard to believe that our little girl is now into double digits.  She's turning into a charming young lady and we're excited to see her next 10 years.
