The last week of school was full of no homework, games at school, field days, movies and popcorn, and waffle parties, just to name a few.  Reghan is now in Third grade and gets to move up to the second floor of the school, Heath moved on to First grade, and Ashlyn had her Pre-school graduation.

Over the course of the week we slowly began packing for their trip to North Carolina to stay with Grana and Grandpa and between the last week of school festivities and the excitement of leaving, the silliness seeped out while deciding what to bring.

Ashlyn's graduation was Hollywood Glamour themed.  Ashlyn wore her red sparkly dress and was up front as the flag holder for the Pledge of Allegiance.
Each of the graduates had a wish that was announced as they stepped up to receive their graduation certificate and a golden star statue.
Miss Sheri and Miss Kendall her teachers even dressed for the event.

Wasting no time, in their amazingly easy traveling style, the kids woke up at 2:45 am to head to the airport for the trip to Grana and Grandpa's where they'll be for the next month.  They've gotten wings before when flying but have never been able to go into the cockpit to meet pilots.
As soon as they arrived, off they ran into the woods to explore and play with their cousins and it didn't take them long to jump into Aunt Linda's pool.

The next day after a picnic they waded into a local stream.  This is definitely the start to an amazing month for them.

Meanwhile, I made my way to Illinois to take part in the start of mom marking her bucket list off.  First up, skydiving.  It was such a fun fun weekend and we're so ready to check the next item off her list.
