The week after didn't let up either.  The day after we went for a hike to the Hollywood sign starting at the Griffith Observatory.  But first we needed to check out the observatory.  The kids found the Earth's orbit and followed it and tried their hand at spinning and turning around the sun without falling.
 Reghan discovered where she was.
There was a wedding couple getting their photographs taken and after Ashlyn watched for a while, Auntie Jewelz endured the endless questions about Auntie Jewelz's love life and Ashlyn's thoughts on what the perfect prince will be for her Auntie.
 The kids and their Aunties.
Along with bad habits.
It was supposed to be a 3 mile loop hike and turned into over a 7 mile hike, in the sun, and when we came out, we exited in a completely different location.  Basically, we got lost, but as it turns out, the more people I speak with, it's very common for people to get lost on the trails and exit in a different canyon then where they started.  Yep, that was us.  Luckily, the boys and Ashlyn turned back miles ago and were there for us to call and pick us up.
Meanwhile back at the observatory, they were keeping themselves busy while Ashlyn flew around like an airplane.  If you can't see the video below, click on the following link.  Observatory Airplane April '16
Nonnie and Poppie left the following day but we had another day with Auntie Amy and Auntie Jewelz.
Auntie Jen Jen stayed for the remainder of the week and they did all sorts of things.  Visited Best Friends, built birdhouses, went to the movies, and even let Reghan take her contacts out.  It was a great couple of weeks.
