I'm not quite sure if this is Ashlyn's way of tossing our dinner salad but is sure adds extra flavor.

The grandparent's must've been in discussions because they all sent a shiny $5 bill in each of their Valentine's Day cards.  With it, they got to go to Toys R Us to pick out a new toy and paid for it with themselves with their new loot in hand.

In other news, Ashlyn attended her first movie, The Lego Movie, and she loved every bit of the afternoon.  First the billboards, then the video games, then the monstrous bucket of popcorn.

Following with the wait to get into swim lessons while Ashlyn watched on.

 

One day, a long time from now, when they're awkwardly avoiding each other in school, we'll have to pull this out to remind them there was a time that they were inseparable.

 

Auntie Jewelz's Christmas gift to the kids keeps on coming and each month when our Kiwi Crate box arrives the kids rip into the box.  This month's box had a bird kit with complete with nests and eggs.

On top of it all, Reghan was honored with another award at Friday's award ceremony.  You go girl!
