We had a very excited and nervous girl on Monday.  The afternoon was spent at her Kindergarten orientation where she met her teacher, Mrs. Grosh, who, from what we hear is the best one, and spent time in her classroom with all of us parents and fellow classmates.  We then ventured to the Multipurpose building for an all school Ice Cream party while the parent's got familiarized with all the activities planned for the year along with the volunteer sign up sheets.
Learning where to line up outside in their "classroom #10" area when recess is over.

Over the weekend we discovered yet another new hiking location.  This one goes under a foot bridge which goes over the now dry Santa Clara River.  Since it's under water for some of the winter there were many new things to explore.  The kids brought along their trusty bags to collect the various items along the way.
Right away they found their walking sticks and Heath was very proud of the large one he found for Daddy.

Signing off with a tune from our Sunday morning wake up call.
