Warning, there's no logic to the timeline of this post.  Auntie Amy came out for an extended weekend to watch the kids while Steven and I headed down to Orange County for a wedding.  That Sunday Auntie Amy met us in Irvine to visit the Discovery Center and the kids ran around all day from exhibit to exhibit.

One of Ashlyn's top moments of the day was her newly aquired tiara and septor.
A visit to the park always makes for a fun morning.
Followed by home made stepping stone imprints of the kids hands and feet.
Our brief walk from the Greek Theater somehow turned into an extremely long hike to the back of the Hollywood sign.

The wedding in OC was for our friends daughter, Heather and her now husband Eric.  Emily functioned as the planner over the past year and pulled off a spectacular event.  Emily's parents came in for the day and tell me if her and her mom aren't spitting images of each other.

Backtracking to the previous weekend, we headed to Anne and Brian's house for their first bbq in their new house before they have their new little one due the end of June.  On the way down we stopped for a quick romp at the beach.

Lot's of food and fun with friends as well as races in their super big hot tub which also doubles as a perfect sized pool for little ones along with lot's of baby bumps running around.

Let's not forget about the hike the previous day and all the archeological finds along the way.

And these are just too damned cute to not include...tickle tickle.
