Ah the suburban weekend.  Let's admit it, we live deep in the burbs and this past weekend we were the poster family for them starting out with the kids sleepover.

Later that night brought us to yet another burb, Thousand Oaks, to our friends house who's kids play soccer.  The house rule is when the adults play against the kids, some sort of cocktail needs to be in hand.  Well, after one play I my coordinated self ended up on the ground with wine all over but it's a hell of a way to play.

Sunday morning we woke up early to head to our favorite doughnut shop.

Then to the mall to play at the park, the fountains, koi and turtle pond, along with many other sites.  Wrapping up the afternoon baking yummy desert so we could put candles in them to blow out with Grana on Facetime for her birthday.
