Friday kicked off the weekend with a backyard camp out.  As much as Ashlyn helped to set up the tent and sleeping bags, she had to sleep in her room upstairs.  This night was reserved for Daddy, Reghan, and Heath.

Reghan came well equipped with her sleeping buddies, even brought one for Heath, but he had something else in mind.

His new Iron Man action figure and mask compliments of a belated birthday gift from Nonnie and Poppie that arrived that night.  Both him and Reghan wore it quite a bit till they realized their roasted marshmallow's over the camp fire wouldn't fit through the mouth piece.

Then off to the tent for the night with their glow sticks leading the way.

 

Sunday brought us to the pumpkin patch and as always, trying to get a photo with all 3 proves to be a challenge.

Leave it to my kids to find the paddy wagon.

 Ashlyn wasn't exactly sure what to do with the giant pumpkin.

 But they did know what to do with the pile of gourds. 

And the farm scene.

More time at the gourds.

Then off to see some animals.

 

 

Can't walk past a dirt hill without conquering it with the grand finale being the but slide down.

Time to get lost in the maze.

Sneaky Reghan planning to leap out at Heath when he comes around the corner.

Off to the train ride through the sunflower and scare crow field.  Heath has his signature "Blue Steel" smile shining.

Before finally finding the perfect pumpkin to take home, but wait, let's first see how tall we are, then we can go.
