Heath had his best buds over for his 15th birthday and we all went to a Haunted House nearby followed by a sleeover.

Koi had their first portfolio review and comments given at the National Portfolio Review day at the Art Institute of Chicago and was able to meet with the majority of the colleges they're interested in and gain feedback.  A bit nerve wrecking but so fruitful.

Grana and Grandpa visited and we went to a game and Grana helped decorate the outside of the house for Halloween.

Without her knowing it, I also roped her into volunteering to be on drink duty that night too.

The weekend was also our streets annual block party.

Which was also both Grana's and Heath's first beer stein competition.

And bright and early to begin the outdoor decorating.

Heath's girlfriend's, Caila's, annual Doughnut Day where they make fresh apple cider doughnuts each year.

Nighttime walks throughout town while visiting Poppie.

A stop at the church where Steven and I were married before the doors were permanently closed.

Wrapping up October with carefully planned out Halloween Costumes featuring Avery and Ashlyn.
