For the second year in a row we volunteered in the annual "Clean up the Fox" day where we walk the parks and river to collect trash and clean it up.  Although there weren't as many fun items found this year we still had fun keeping our city clean.

The days flew by for the first full month of school  Ashlyn and Steven made quite a few meals together and Auntie Jewlz came by to color Reghan's hair in preparation for their first High School homecoming.

What a night homecoming was!  Reghan slayed in their cranberry suit along with their friends Brooke and Wrenn.

Heath's lacrosse season started back up and he looks like a new man out there and is a force on the field.

A wonderful way to round out the month was to cook some of our favorite Marshall Fields Walnut Room dishes and bring the Walnut Room to our home.  Asiago garlic bread, The Fields Special, Chicken Pot Pie, Epicurean, topping off with Frango Mints.  Nonnie + Poppie came up for the day with the whole family happily gorging ourselves.
