October was full of birthday celebrations.  One had all sorts of exotic animals that the kids got to hold and get to know.  Some also not so exotic but preferably never to be held again.  

Then there's these two.  Cozy and comfy in the waiting area of a local restaurant.  

Heath cashed in some of his birthday gift cards and got a sweet keyboard and gaming pad from them.  Him and Pretzel are creating their own electronic hideaway.

A break from technology takes us to one of our favorite board games of the moment, Ticket to Ride, for a heated trip to our winner.

Halloween landed on a Sunday this year and the fall weather couldn't have been more perfect.  An afternoon of pumpkin carving, running around the yard, and full of friends and topping it off with bucket loads of sugar.
