Each year the kids look forward to the night of or in this case the night before Easter for their Glow in the Dark Easter Egg Hunt. This year some of the neighborhood kids joined in and they were like a wave of locusts sweeping across all the backyards filled with glowing eggs. One of the biggest shocks of the night was that as all of the kids, ranging from 4 - 14 didn't hurt each as they poured onto the trampoline in the dark with glow sticks in hand bouncing on top of each other. One could say it was an Easter miracle.
While we waited for Heath to wake up we played a few rounds of Tenzi with Auntie Amy, made sure their jelly beans sprouted into lollipops, then had our Easter morning Egg Hunt. We had to laugh. Some kids are in their dresses and suites while ours have their own style of shawls, baskets, and umbrellas.Later that morning we went to Nonnie and Poppies which was the first time in really long time our whole family gathered at their house. It was such a blessed celebration and perfect day to get together.
