We started construction on Heath's future bedroom and had some fun on stage one, demolition.  Everyone had their face masks and hammers in hand for some major damage.

Later in the week the kids had their first open house at school and were very proud of their work.  There were crafts hanging from the ceilings both down the hallways and in the class room.   Essays written and sculptures displayed.

Reghan's desk was extremely clean and I couldn't help but notice that she has an affection to post it notes like her mom.

 A wall was dedicated to their Outdoor Ed trip in the fall where Reghan was beaming with life.

Just outside Ashlyns room were the Leprechaun traps and Ashlyn's stood tall as the only safe haven for the tricky little creatures.

Each of the second graders wrote a paper on a historical figure they'd been researching and Ashlyn's was Eleanor Roosevelt.  If you don't see the video below, click on the following link.  Ash's Eleanor Roosevelt report 

Ahslyn too had a clean desk but how in the world it looks so clean given how carefree she is in with her own room was something else.  

Heath's desk, however, was a different story, although, his work was quite organized everywhere else. 

We stopped by the art class, phonics lab, and music room to name a few where I heard them play the various instruments they've been learning.  It was fun to see everyone and the kids were so very proud of it all.
