Reghan's begun band and is taking up the flute. Thus far she's treating her instrument with the care it deserves. She's already had a couple of lessons and is starting to pick it up.
Meanwhile Ashlyn and Heath are lighting up the soccer fields
They recently had a double header. They played a "VIP" game against the Golden Pumas. The VIP league is specifically geared towards players with various physical and mental disabilities. For example, the game ball played rattled because there was a blind girl on the team. Both the coaches and us parents spoke with our boys about it and they went in and played their "hardest" but still left the Golden Pumas win. It was a great learning experience for the boys and also made us proud by watching how our little boys can understand something as big as this and play with great sportsmanship.
Somehow our tables grow on the weekends.
But that's ok because they're filled with laughter.
And evening dance shows.
Practicing away.
Weeknight practices while it's still warm.
On September 11th, Heath's Cub Scout Troop held a special flag ceremony and also retired a flag.
They're learning the proper way to retire a flag and Heath was honored one of the two Wolf's to be part of it.
With the finished
Extremely messy dinners out.
Awesome face painting at fun birthday parties.
Fun sleep overs with besties.
And backyard morning hikes before soccer games.
Getting ready for winter in September.
But not before creative time with friends. It started out colorful and ended up a mushy violet mass of fast art in front of an live and critical audience.
