January has come and gone in a whirl of flurry.  Pretzel is settling in well.
Friends along with Flat Stanley attacked the town.
Filling out the kids new calendars for the year prior to hanging them up in their rooms.
First lunch of the year in one of their favorite spots.  In n Out
Plenty of play time.
Sewing her sock kitten.  Granted, it's a bit cookoo crazy looking but she did it all on her own.
Beginning the background of their butt-erfly masterpiece.
More Flat Stanley adventures.
Snowy sledding.
And wilderness hikes through a winter wonderland.
Pretzel continues to stick close to her new family.
Hikes and animal tracks.
Sunny snacking.
Our sassy girls found a leave behind from other "Sassy Women" along the path.
Games, games, and more games.
Dizzying pre-toothbrushing jigs.  If you don't see the video below click on the following link.  Heath's jig - Jan 17
Rollerskating with their new skates.  If you can't see the video below, click on the following link.  Learning to skate - Jan 17

And the obligatory roller rink video games.
The ballerina and her daddy creating masterpieces.
Ashlyn discovered a new love of piano's at a neighbors house.
Sniper's waiting for their chance to attack.
And then they arrive and the attack commences with a peace dinner over Shirley Temples, Margaritas, and table side dancing.
Girl scout cookie selling began in full force.
Rounding out the month with the schools' Mother Son bowling event and the Pokemon Powerballs dominated the lanes.
Heath couldn't keep in his excitement.

Pretzel has fully acclimated into our family.  One of her favorite places is on the kids homework shelves.  Plus we've discovered that she like to eat paper, regularly, specifically from their classwork stacks.  Well, if they go to school and tell the teacher their cat ate their homework, we can document the truth.
