Group pictures are always a challenge to say the least and the latest is no exception.  However, even with the awkwardness you can see how they're loving this time of the season.  Ashlyn's Daisy troop had a family trip to the pumpkin patch and it was a fantastic turnout along with the older Brownie troops family.

The group of kids and parents was a good sized one and much to Heath's surprise, his friend Eli had come along with his bigger sister, and friend of Reghan's, Liana.  The two boys were inseparable at the patch.

Not the best photo of us in the corn maze, however, we just can't get over how tall she looks here.  Every now and again it strikes us just how much she's grown and continues to grow.

Heath and Ashlyn navigated the maze with Steven while Reghan and I ventured out on our own.

Meanwhile, Heath still had his birthday lego set left to put togethere which he worked on early one morning.

Not only was there still the Lego set to put together but more of the Death Star to eat which really didn't last much longer once more friends discovered what it was and how tasty it was.

Even trips to Home Depot has been fun.  Needing more keys made, both Heath and Ashlyn got to make the keys under the careful supervision of the person helping us.

Heath's Cub Scout Den had a pumpkin decorating party also.  Followed by his Pack meeting where it was a costume party with many games to take part in.

Reghan's has discovered just how fun, and difficult, it is to demolish things.

We had the most amazing day surprise when Auntie Jen Jen flew out to the OC for work and had an open weekend day to drive up and spend the day with us.  We all were so happy to see her and squeezed as much into the day as possible. From finishing out halloween costume shopping, to QT time with her and Steven at the shooting range, to carving pumpkins, to name a few.

The school's Fall Festival was this past weekend as well and the kids got to dress up in their costumes for the first time.  The morning of it rained which was perfect for Reghan to finish her creation in the mud in the backyard.

While Ashlyn was rocking out while cleaning the bathtub.  Personal note, candles double well for a microphone.  After witnessing her musical cleaning skills, we may need to add some more tasks to her chore list.
