After running like crazy we desperately needed some good outdoor time so we took off for a little hike one morning.  The kids had quite the imaginative adventure inspired by Indiana Jones.

Boy Scouts have been in full swing with many Pack and Den meetings,

 Our neighbors had party where the kids dominated the pool

and the Boys dominated their game room.

Back on the Cub Scout front.  They had their yearly Egg Drop competition the entire family could partake in and so the girls joined in to make theirs as well.  We started testing from the top of the ladder in the garage.  After passing that, we moved to one of the safest places to drop it for added height...

The ladder in the back of the truck.  Yes, completely safe.  After this testing, we moved up to Ashlyn's second floor window.

Once fully vetted, we packed them up and brought them to the Egg Drop competition where they dropped them from the top of the local school.  Ashlyn's egg cracked but Heath's did not.

Miss Siena turned three and had the most lovely tea party birthday where they had tons of cupcakes, decorated their own hats, and got to play and climb on some new equipment.

And more popcorn selling.  The kids' becoming quite the little salesman with the best manners. Although we think one of his favorite things to do is count his money at the end of each shift and have Daddy check it.

During a recent road trip of Nonnie and Poppies they stumbled across this hot dog stand, sent a picture back, and the kids can't stop talking about it.

Somewhere in here we managed to fit in the day to day also.  Reading to each other.
