After 3 seasons of being on the same team, the end of season party for the Blue Dolphins soccer team bid farewell to a great season.  

The Athletics closed their season as well with a great picnic and new friendships forged.

 

Paper craft afternoons.

A certain someone turned eight and requested a Japanese dinner with only her family this year.

Finishing homework with some of her birthday stash holding up her papers.

Our crab finally moved into the orange polka dotted shell which thrilled the kids.

Then off to our community snow day.

Followed with many sleep overs in their bedroom of choice, Heath's.

Heath was enamored by it, just like he was at her June performance.  Especially the short sneak peak of the upcoming Nutcracker by the older dancers.

Cookies and candy galore.

Heath was a natural.

Many one on one date nights followed by Christmas shopping for brothers and sisters and light reading.  Have I mentioned how I love that our kids look forward to going to book stores.

Most of us are slowly getting sick which is horrible timing given it's the day before Christmas Eve so we stayed in today and painted the paper mache' ornaments and the kids really wanted to make sculptures for Santa so began to mold them.  They'll be painted in the morning and ready to place next to the cookie plate the next night.
