Less than a week until we get to wrap our arms around our little ones again.  Although we know that deep down they miss us too, they've barely taken time to catch up with us between all of the fun activities they're taking part in.  Since their first photo at Nonnie and Poppie's with the corn just at their knees, this photo proves that time has certainly passed.  It also proves that we no longer have Southern California kids.  They've fully embraced the summer life I had at their age, barefoot in the cornfield and all.
There was a day of exploring followed by a camp out in the back yard but not after catching and keeping some frogs for the night.  This particular one was named Francois.

The next morning came quick with a trip to the park afterwards and some singing, Ashlyn style.
If you don't see the video below, click on the following link.  Get up and dance, Oh yeah oh yeah.
Some casting practice off the boat in the garage.  Prepping for their big fishing trip and for the family vacation coming up.
Nonnie and Poppie set up the little pool, compared to the neighbors bigger one, and they've been in it every night.
After a weekend spent at a carnival eating elephant ears and seeing the fireworks explode over the river, they set off one day to go fishing with much success.  A couple more days of being spoiled and then back to reality for these kids.
