Saturday brought us to the Getty and the excitement began in the parking garage and continued on the Tram all the way through the grounds.
They each had a map and guided us through many of the exhibits and grounds that they wanted to see. We were quite impressed with how well they did.
A few stops along the way to rest.
It was a clear day which made it perfect for taking in all of the panoramic views.
Then back to the map for further navigating. Although we don't particularly think the collections there are all that spectacular, the grounds are quite nice and it was perfect for the kids. They got to see some beautiful pieces as well as run around a bit outside. With plenty of hugs along the way.
They were extremely happy when they found the "flower/water maze" as they called it.
Beyond a doubt, Ashlyn's favorite exhibit was of the furniture that she believed was from a princesses castle that she would like to move into one day.
Then there's the hill. The grassy hill that's perfect for rolling on and running down at excessive speeds.
As always, Ashlyn cherished every moment of her dance class. If you can't see the video below, click on the following link. Ashlyn and her people
Just hanging around.
Mm Mmmm smore's.
