Reghan's slightly loose bottom tooth is becoming looser to make room for the monster permanent tooth coming in behind it. (a very exciting discovery)
She also began her first art class where she learned about light and dark, blending, and light sources. Next week's lesson will cover shadowing.
To continue our yearly tradition, we ventured to Mission Viejo to Emily and Robert's for the 4th. In their great fashion, there was plenty of food and drink, and good company. As always, they rose at the break of dawn to lay out the blankets to reserve our premier spot to watch the fireworks over the lake which is always a nice treat. Upon arriving, the kids settled in quickly to catch the tail end of a movie in their loft then off to the pool where Tatiana gave personalized swim lessons to Reghan. Not so much of a relaxing jaunt to the pool for her but Reghan quickly became her best friend for the day. Thank you Tatiana!

While Heath and Ashlyn finished off the chips. As soggy as they were, they weren't deterred.
Solving the problems of the world over the barbie.
The ride home was very eventful. The kids made it about a mile before they passed out.
Finally, we discovered that Reghan and Heath both have pretty wicked swings when they connect with the ball.
